This project involved a comprehensive structural and cosmetic update to convert an unfinished lower level into a fully functional living area. Initially, the team constructed wooden framing along the exposed concrete foundation walls, ceiling joists, and around the utility zone. Following the framing phase, drywall was installed, finished, and painted a bright, clean white to enhance the lighting in the expansive room. Furthermore, light-colored, wood-look plank flooring was laid down throughout the entire space, establishing a cohesive flow. Subsequently, a dedicated laundry alcove was outfitted with overhead shelving and storage solutions to maximize utility. Finally, the access staircase was refurbished with dark-painted treads and a matching handrail, providing a sharp visual contrast to the newly brightened room.
